OTTAWA — The annual election for directors of the Putnam County Agricultural Society will be held from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. June 27 at the Putnam County Fairgrounds, under the grandstand.
The director seats for the townships of Palmer, Monroe, Monterey, Jennings, District I, District IV and District V are up for election.
Anyone interested in becoming a fair director must be a member of the society and may pick up a petition at the secretary’s office. Membership tickets can be purchased at the secretary’s office for $25. The petition must be returned to the fair secretary by June 21.
