Fatal crash rate slightly higher than last year

LIMA — Allen County is currently experiencing a higher rate of fatal crashes compared to the first five months of 2014, according to the Lima-Allen County Safe Community Coalition.

Alcohol or drugs were confirmed to be in use for two of the crashes, while it is not known if either were in use for the others.
