LIMA — The Public Utilities Commission of Ohio has awarded the Shawnee Township Fire Department a $4,300 hazardous material training grant, one of five awarded throughout the state.
The Fire Department will use the funds to send firefighters to the XTREME Industrial Fire & Hazard Training Program in Beaumont, Texas.
