Downtown festivities coming to Ottawa

OTTAWA — First Fridays will be coming back to Main and Oak streets in downtown Ottawa from 4 to 7 p.m. starting Friday, according to the Ottawa Area Chamber of Commerce.

Friday’s events will include a farmers market, the third annual Touch-A-Truck and several sidewalk sales. There will be free ice cream and balloons, face painting and other children’s activities and a lemonade stand. The Putnam County Health Department will also conduct free car seat checks.
