Auditor’s office to hold open records seminar

OTTAWA — The Putnam County Educational Service Center is holding a free open government seminar beginning at 10 a.m. June 22.

The three-hour seminar will offer training on the basics of record retention and information on Ohio’s Public Records Act and Open Meetings Act. The seminar will be led by James Harding, assistant legal counsel with the state auditor’s office. All local, county and state government elected officials are encourged to attend.
