French fashion house Louis Vuitton reveals first campaign with Zendaya

Zendaya is the newest ambassador for the French fashion house Louis Vuitton.

The luxury brand dropped its “stunning” new campaign featuring the Golden Globe winner and one of its most iconic handbags.

The actress rivals any supermodel as she showcases the Capucines bag.

According to the Hollywood Reporter, the bag has a special place in the history of the world-famous brand.

The Capucines handbag premiered a decade ago and is named after the Paris street where Louis Vuitton opened his first store in 1854. It has become a defining silhouette for the luxury fashion house. Crafted with full-grain Taurillon leather and various styling options, the handbag epitomizes practicality and elegance.

Louis Vuitton released a statement revealing their new campaign with the Euphoria star.

“Defined by the dreamy airs of the Cote d’Azur, Zendaya poses in an idyllic sequence of strong, defined images, with a series of Capucines models in tow, including a miniature Capucines BB — another campaign first. From terrace to balcony to rooftop, the award-winning actress imbues the campaign and Capucines with a fresh yet sensual grace.”

The striking photos were released on April 20. The images featured the actress wearing different black and white looks near the ocean. The outlet credited photography duo Mert Alas and Marcus Piggott as the creative minds behind the jaw-dropping images. It also credited styling to ‘celebrity style architect’ and Zendaya’s longtime friend and stylist, Law Roach.

The photoshoot took place among the vibrant blue skies and crystal clear waters of the Cote d’Azur region of France. The backdrop of the shoot was at the Roquebrune-Cap-Martin house, designed by architect Eileen Gray.

The brand unveiled new colorways and styles of the Capucines bag, including the miniature Capucines BB.

The brand provided a behind-the-scenes video of Zendaya prepping for the shoot and pulling inspiration from the beautiful scenery and the beautiful bags.
