It’s not often that I feature two photos of the same outfit here at Sunday Best, but Cara Delevingne’s dramatic ensemble deserves two views. Designed by Carolina Herrera and worn to the Screen Actors Guild Awards last Sunday (Delevingne was a nominee, as part of the ensemble cast of the Hulu series “Only Murders in the Building”), it’s a sleek jumpsuit with an attached overskirt. With the skirt down, the outfit looks quietly chic, like it’s going to a very severe ball; with a sudden breeze or pirouette or maybe just a magic word, suddenly it’s making an entirely different, playful statement. It’s fashion alchemy, in the blink of an eye.
