BEAVERDAM — Donald “Bud” Beemer is celebrating his 90th birthday.
Beemer was born Feb. 2, 1934 in Beaverdam to Roy and Florence Beemer. On July 3, 1970 he married Roberta.
He has two children, Steve (Wendy Deubler) Beemer of Elida and Debora (Gary) Copeland of Lima, three grandchildren, six great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren. One great-grandchild preceded him in death.
Beemer served in the U.S. Army and worked at Lima Register and Milcor. He was a member of the Delphos Eagles and the NRA. Beemer enjoys playing bingo, watching college basketball, the Cleveland Indians (Guardians) and playing with his two fur babies, Bandy and Reba. He also enjoys trapshooting.
