Mark Figley: Biden’s bad ideas on EVs in the military

Joe Biden has been referred to as lots of things, but military expert has never been one of them. Even after his disastrous Afghanistan withdrawal debacle, he is clearly incapable of cogent thought when it comes to sensible defense planning. And he just keeps proving it.

America’s fearless leader has decided that all our military vehicles should be electric by 2030; climate-friendly that is, and he means it. After all, Joe believes that climate change is the biggest threat we face in a dangerous and unpredictable world.

Apparently Biden is unaware that the United States increasingly depends on our greatest adversary, China, for our EV supply chain. He is also seemingly oblivious to the fact that charging stations are absent from the battlefield. Perhaps Joe has a secret plan he’s keeping under wraps to explain just where U.S. military vehicles can recharge in a pinch? Although, if he revealed such a plan, does he think enemy forces would allow them to remain intact?

And exactly how long could U.S. tanks go between charges? Would the enemy agree to cease all operations until American forces were back in the game? Imagine what legendary Gen. George Patton might have said about such a hair-brained scenario. Surely, he might have had some colorful words to describe a war strategy dependent on mobile, solar-powered charging stations in the dead of winter with no sunlight in sight.

U.S. Marine Corps veteran and former National Security Council spokesman John Ullyot may have summed up the EV lunacy best when he said, “Jet-setting climate grifters have zero basis in science or common sense.” He further explained that EV’s aid the enemy, would slow down U.S. forces, hamper tactical operations and make our forces easy targets for our adversaries.

Biden and his band of dim-bulb brainiacs just can’t help themselves. Maybe they could actually convince our adversaries that they too should go all-electric in the name of climate change. This would make the actual fighting more even-handed too, and who among the honorable leaders of such heavyweights as China, Russia, Iran or North Korea wouldn’t sign on to such a plan?

Throughout American history, our nation’s leaders could always be counted on to put U.S. forces in the best possible position to achieve battlefield success, but that will no longer be the case if Biden has his way, and that’s “not a joke folks.”

America’s adversaries are no doubt licking their collective chops, even as they are bent over in laughter, with word of Biden’s latest attempt at sheer ineptitude. And the scariest part about it is that no one seems to be pushing back on the insanity.

Biden has exhibited his propensity many times to destroy everything he touches. Now, according to American Liberty News, his lackeys at the Pentagon have assigned at least 640 full- or part-time staff to work on issues of environmental justice such as EV military vehicles.

The masterful Rush Limbaugh frequently said that the purpose of war is to kill people and break things. It’s a concept completely beyond the comprehension of Biden and his impractical band of climate ideologues, who are not only proving how dangerous they are through their EV obsession but the extent to which they are purposeful dimwits.
