Putnam County Municipal Court dispositions

May 2

Ernest F. McLaren, 57, 17529 Beach St., Grand Rapids, pleaded guilty to an amended charge of second-offense reckless operation. Sentence: 30 days jail, 24 days suspended, $250 fine, and complete a drug and alcohol assessment. A charge of OVI with refusal was dismissed.

Jeremy B. Moreno, 38, 1299 N. Defiance St., Ottawa, pleaded no contest to drug abuse/possession and was found guilty. Sentence: $150 fine.

May 3

Robert M. Montgomery, 58, 1398 County Road 1, Deshler, pleaded guilty to driving under suspension. Sentence: 180 days jail, 177 days suspended, $250 fine, one year license suspension and complete a drug and alcohol assessment. He also pleaded guilty to criminal mischief. Sentence: 30 days jail, suspended, $100 fine, suspended, and no contact with victims for two years. A charge of attempted criminal mischief was dismissed.

Connor A. Venia, 20, 416 Burt St., Van Wert, pleaded guilty to two counts aggravated menacing. Sentence: 180 days jail on both counts, $100 fine, suspended on both counts, sentence served consecutive to other case. He also pleaded guilty to telephone harassment. Sentence: 180 days jail, suspended, $100 fine and complete a mental health assessment. Charges of aggravated menacing and telecommunications harassment were dismissed.

Joseph C. McCampbell, 21, 115 Wilson St., Newark, pleaded no contest to passing bad checks and was found guilty. Sentence: 10 days jail, suspended, $100 fine and pay $214 to Meyer Auto Sales.

Devin L. Humes, 32, 1728 Virginia Ave., Lima, pleaded no contest to driving under FRA/non-compliance and was found guilty. Sentence: $100 fine.
