April 12

Christopher Niese, Ottawa, pleaded guilty to improper handling firearm in motor vehicle.

April 13

Aubreyanna N. Williams, Lima, was granted a divorce from Tiffany A. Chasco, Columbus Grove. They were married Nov. 9, 2015 in Allen County and have no children.

April 14

Quinn P. Kaufman, Ottawa, was placed on probation for four years for a charge of assault. He must successfully complete all counseling and treatment, not use illegal drugs or alcoholic beverages or medications without a valid prescription and meet face to face with his supervising officer during the first full week of each month beginning in May 2022.

Mark D. Kuhlman, Ottawa, was placed on five years community control for aggravated possession of drugs. He must successfully complete all counseling and treatment recommended. He is to be returned to the state of Indiana and must resolve all pending cases and warrants in the states of Ohio, Indiana, and Michigan.

Putnam County Municipal Court dispositions

April 11

Joshua J. Karhoff, Columbus Grove, pleaded no contest to littering and was found guilty. Sentence: 30 days jail, suspended, $200 fine and perform 40 hours community service within 90 days.

Dean A. Maag, Cloverdale, pleaded guilty to an amended charge of second offense reckless operation. Sentence: 30 days jail, suspended, $250 fine, and attend VIP program within 90 days. A charge of speeding was dismissed.

April 12

Brandon Adkins, New Bavaria, pleaded guilty to stopping after accident; exchange information. Sentence: 180 days jail, suspended, six-month license suspension and fined $250. He was also fined $150 for failure to control
