March 14

Martrevis Lamar-Chitman, 32, 715 W. Elm St., Lima, was placed on five years community control for three counts felony nonsupport. He must obtain and maintain employment and successfully complete all counseling and treatment recommended.

March 15

Justin W. Ford, Ottawa, was granted a divorce from Marie A. Ford, Miller City. They were married April 3, 2008 in Gatlinburg, Tenn. and have two children.

March 17

Damien J. Pursel, 27, Corrections Center of NW, Stryker, was sentenced to 30 months in prison for attempted burglary. He was given credit for 77 days served and any additional days while awaiting transport. He was ordered to pay restitution of $2,310 to the victim. A charge of theft from a person in a protected class was dismissed.

Dana Johnson, Columbus Grove, and Melissa Johnson, Findlay, were granted a dissolution of marriage. They were married April 28, 2018 in Lima and have no children.

Julie Brinkman, Fort Jennings, and Keith Brinkman, Fort Jennings, were granted a dissolution of marriage. They were married Oct. 5, 2002 in Putnam County and have three children.

Putnam County Municipal Court dispositions

March 15

Charity L. Baugh, 30, 226 W. Third St., Ottawa, pleaded guilty to obstructing official business. Sentence: 90 days jail, 80 days suspended, $100 fine, and complete a mental health assessment. She also pleaded guilty to passing bad checks. Sentence: 180 days jail, suspended, and $100 fine.

Shiane R. Stone, 31, 520 S. Eastom St., Leipsic, pleaded no contest to driving under FRA/non-compliance and was found guilty. Sentence: $200 fine. She was also fined $50 for traffic control device.

March 17

Jose Hernandez, 255 E. Perrin Ave., McComb, charged with felonious assault, a felony, bound over to common pleas court.

David J. Bendele, 38, 17337 State Route 190, Fort Jennings, pleaded guilty to domestic violence. Sentence: 180 days jail, suspended and fined $200 and complete mental health assessment. He also pleaded guilty to criminal damaging. Sentence: 90 days jail, suspended. He also admitted to violating conditions of probation. Sentence: 178 days jail with credit given for five days served. Charges of criminal damaging and two counts assault were dismissed.

Austin L Selhorst, 29, 381 E. Fourth St., Ottoville, pleaded guilty to an amended charge of second-offense reckless operation. Sentence: 30 days jail, 24 days suspended, $250 fine with credit of six days upon completion of DIP. Charges of speeding and open container were dismissed.
