Plush Party Palace caters to young ladies

LIMA — Plush Party Palace Girls Spa is LaFawn Pughsley’s vision for a one-stop party shop for children.

The kids pamper spa aims to inspire and equip girls with tools to promote inner beauty, positive self-esteem and respect for others within a fun, relaxing and plush environment.

A variety of pamper services, mini manicures, mini pedicures, facials and magical makeovers will be available. There are themed packages that parents can choose from including Mommy and Me packages and School Holiday Events.

“We are committed to ensure every princess has a magical experience when they visit our spa,” Pughsley said. “Every visit will be filled with joy, laughter and creating precious memories.”

The space at 707 N. Cable Road will be available to the community to hold private events such as baby showers, bridal showers, bachelorette parties, graduations and meetings. Adults may be interested in an event called “Sip and Whips.” Adult attendees will be taught how to create their own body butters while listening to great music, enjoying refreshments and meeting new people.

Plush was first established in Ypsilanti, Mich., in 2017. After 30 years away, Pughsley returned to Lima.

“I held on to the vision I had for little girls and decided I wanted them to experience what the other little girls experienced in Michigan, so in September I came across a building that I immediately knew it was the new home of Plush,” she said. “We put a lot of work into transforming our new space, and it is spectacular. Our team is passionate and love what they do.”
