CLEVELAND — A woman was found dead early Sunday, hanging from a balcony in Ohio City, Cleveland police said.
Officers responded about 1 a.m. to a house on the 3000 block of Mabel Court, off Fulton Road, and found a 24-year-old woman dead, Cleveland police spokeswoman Sgt. Jennifer Ciaccia said.
The Cuyahoga County Medical Examiner’s Office identified the victim as Megan M. Springsteel.
While Cleveland police homicide detectives were called to the scene, Springsteel’s death has not officially been ruled as a homicide, Ciaccia said. The medical examiner’s office will make that determination.
The investigation into the death continues.
