LimaRobert A. Gillispie, 46, died at 5:49 p.m. Nov. 14, 2011, at Blanchard Valley Hospital, Findlay.He was born Nov. 29, 1964, in Lima to James H. and Clara Thines Gillispie. His mother survives in Lima.Mr. Gillispie was a former manager at Bob Evans. He was a member of the Local 886, VFW Men’s Auxiliary Post 1275, Lima, Orioles Nest 173, Lima, and a past member of the Sons of American Legion Squadron 96. He was an avid fan of the L.A. Lakers, the Cleveland Browns and Ohio State Buckeyes.Survivors also include a brother, Jim Gillispie II, of Lima; two sisters, Becky (Allen) Mathews, of Cridersville, and Cindy (Michael) Nolte, of Lima; many nieces and nephews and aunts and uncles; a brother-in-law, Larry Pummell; and his best buddy, Duke, his cat.He was preceded in death by a sister, Melody (Eley) Pummell.Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 11 a.m. Saturday at St. Gerard Catholic Church, Lima. Burial will be in Gethsemani Cemetery, Lima.Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at Chamberlain-Huckeriede Funeral Home.Memorial contributions may be sent to Angels for Animals, 211 S.
