LimaPerry Scott, 80, died at 5:25 a.m. Jan. 25, 2011, at St. Rita’s Medical Center.He was born May 21, 1930, in Lima to Steven and Jennie Goldsmith Scott, who preceded him in death. On Dec. 10, 1956, he married Nancy Winget, who died Nov. 19, 1997.Mr. Scott was a member of Fraternal Order of Eagles Aerie 370. He was a big fan of The Ohio State University Buckeyes and the Cleveland Browns. He loved all of his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He was a Navy veteran.Survivors include three daughters, Cindy (Gary) Hobbs, Wendy Billiter and Jenny Dearth, all of Lima; 10 grandchildren, Shannan (Jeff) Clevenger, Heather (Andy) Starner, David (Tara) Billiter, Chrissy Billiter, Joseph (Cynthia) Dearth, Matthew Dearth, Jennifer (Justin) Anthony, Ashley (Moises) Espinosa, Joshua Porter and Zachary Porter; 12 great-grandchildren, Michael Clevenger, Trevor Clevenger, Jared Clevenger, Mark Starner, Dylan Starner, Morgan Billiter, Peyton Billiter, Brody Billiter, Reagan Dearth, Hunter Anthony, Bryce Anthony and Selena Espinosa; a brother, Alex Scott; two sisters, Mary Maxwell and Linda (Wayne) Yant; and a sister-in-law, Susan (John) Jackson.He was preceded in death by a son, Ronald Porter.Services will begin at 11 a.m. Saturday at Chamberlain-Huckeriede Funeral Home. The Rev. Judith Huber will officiate.
