KalidaGary W. Ellerbrock, 53, died at 1:46 a.m. Aug. 12, 2011, at Putnam County Ambulatory Care Center, Glandorf.He was born Nov. 24, 1957, in Lima to Raymond and Alice Ricker Ellerbrock, who preceded him in death. On Oct. 26, 1991, he married Lynn Pohlman, who survives in Kalida.Mr. Ellerbrock worked at Unverferth Manufacturing, Kalida, for 35 years. He was a member of St. Michael Catholic Church, Kalida. He was a big fan of the Detroit Tigers and The Ohio State University Buckeyes. He enjoyed spending time with his family and loved watching his nieces and nephews grow up, and being a part of their lives.Survivors also include two sisters, Sharon (Norbert) Burgei, of Kalida, and Joyce (George) Kleman, of Delphos; two brothers, Dan (Carol) Ellerbrock and Kenny (Nancy) Ellerbrock, both of Kalida; his father-in-law, Michael (Louise) Pohlman, of Ottoville; a sister-in-law, Jill (Bill) Stoner, of Ada; a brother-in-law, Matt (Krista) Pohlman, of Powell; and 11 nieces and nephews, Janice Goergens, Jeff Ellerbrock, Dana Stortenbecker, Kim Hewit, Kurt Kleman, Ross Ellerbrock, Jordan Ellerbrock, Erica Stoner, Madison Stoner, Avery Pohlman and Reese Pohlman.He was preceded in death by his mother-in-law, Marjorie Pohlman.Mass of Christian Burial will begin 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at St. Michael Catholic Church, Kalida. Father Mark Hoying will officiate.
