LIMA — In celebration of Red Cross Month, the American Red Cross of West Central Ohio will be launching Project Prepare, a new emergency preparedness plan aimed at youth and families.
This project includes programs such as the Home Fire Preparedness Campaign, which aims to work with families in ensuring they have proper fire detection equipment. Another program is the Pillowcase Project, a program for elementary school pupils in which children are given pillowcases to decorate and fill with emergency supplies.
