Putnam County Common Pleas Court

Feb. 3

Nicholas A. Croy, 24, 18281 Road I-17, Cloverdale, pleaded guilty to possession of drugs and illegal manufacture of methamphetamines. He faces up to nine years in prison, $17,500 in fines and one to 10 years license suspension. Bond was continued while a pre-sentence investigation is conducted with sentencing set for 10:30 a.m. March 20. Charges of engaging in a pattern of corrupt activity and illegal assembly or possession of chemicals for the manufacture of drugs were dismissed.

Feb. 9

George A. Boecker II, 24, 24458 Road J, Cloverdale, pleaded guilty to illegal manufacture of methamphetamines and possession of drugs. He faces up to nine years in prison, $17,500 in fines and one to 10 years license suspension. John W. Barnhart, Jr., 23, 403 W. Cedar St., Dupont, pleaded guilty to illegal manufacture of methamphetamines and possession of drugs. He faces up to nine years in prison, $17,500 in fines and one to 10 years license suspension. Bond was continued while a pre-sentence investigation is conducted with sentencing set for 10 a.m. March 20. Charges of engaging in a pattern of corrupt activity and illegal assembly or possession of chemicals for the manufacture of drugs were dismissed.

Feb. 11

David Ranes, 301 E. Perry St., Grover Hill, was found guilty by a jury of engaging in a pattern of corrupt activity, illegal manufacture of methamphetamine and illegal assembly or possession of chemicals for the manufacture of drugs. Sentencing was set for 11:30 a.m. March 18.

Feb. 17

Justin Shafer, Bidwell, was granted a divorce from Chanelle Shafer, Ottawa. They were married May 14, 2010 in Eaton, and have three children.

Lorinda Ladden, Pandora, was granted a divorce from Leland Ladden, Pandora. They were married July 11, 1992 in Grandforks, N.D., and have two minor children.

Putnam County Municipal Court dispositions

Feb. 9

David W. Gibson, 53, 724 E. Second St., Ottawa, pleaded no contest to persistent disorderly conduct and was found guilty. Sentence: 30 days jail, 29 days suspended, $150 fine, suspended, and complete assessment at Pathways Counseling Center or equivalent provider and abide by recommendations.

Feb. 10

Norfolk Southern Railroad, Fort Wayne, Ind., pleaded no contest to two counts to obstructing roads by railroads and was found guilty. Sentence: $150 fine on both counts.

Feb. 17

Peter A. Brown, 51, 200 Ash St., Continental, pleaded guilty to an amended charge of second-offense reckless operation. Sentence: Four points, 30 days jail, $250 fine.

Darren L. Laudick, 47, 251 N. Main St., Glandorf, pleaded guilty to an amended charge of second-offense reckless operation. Sentence: Four points, 30 days jail, $250 fine and one year license suspension. He also pleaded guilty to consumption in a motor vehicle. Sentence: 30 days jail, served consecutive to other case and $150 fine. A charge of open container was dismissed.

Feb. 19

Derek D. Rayle, 25, 18704 Road I-17, Cloverdale, pleaded no contest to assault and was found guilty. Sentence: 180 days jail, suspended, $250 fine, and complete psychological assessment.
