Putnam County backs down to Level 1 advisory

OTTAWA — Putnam County backed down from a Level 2 roadway advisory to a Level 1 advisory this morning.

Putnam County Sheriff Michael Chandler upgraded the road conditions at 10:36 a.m. Roadways are still snow-covered and icy, so drivers shoudl still be careful.

Hardin County Sheriff Keith Everhart eliminated his county’s snow advisory at 7 a.m. Monday.

Van Wert County received 8 inches of snowfall, according to Van Wert County EMA Director Rick McCoy’s Facebook page. Pandora, in Putnam County, received 6.1 inches of snow Sunday, according to National Weather Service observer Guy Verhoff.

There were never roadway advisories issued in Allen or Auglaize counties for this storm.
