WAPAKONETA — Mr. and Mrs. Henry “Hank” DeLong, of Wapakoneta formerly of Lima, celebrated 70 years of marriage Feb. 7, 2015. A small gathering will be held by the family to celebrate this special occasion.
DeLong and the former Mary “Peg” Clay were married Feb. 7, 1945, in Biloxi, Mississippi.
They are the parents of one son, Allen (Kendra) DeLong, of Wapakoneta. They have two granddaughters.
DeLong served in the United States Army from 1944 to 1947. He retired from Ford Motor Company, Lima Engine Plant in 2001 at the age of 78. His wife is a homemaker.
