Kalida turns away Leipsic in boys hoops

KALIDA — Kalida make 24 of 45 field goal attempts for 53 percent on its way to a 57-33 victory over fellow Putnam County League member Leipsic on Saturday night.

Trent Gerding (17), Brady Laudick (13) and Devin Kortokrax (10) all finished in double digits for Kalida. Matt Schroeder led Leipsic with 11 points.

St. Marys 76, Sidney 53

SIDNEY — Josh Young (18), Derek Jay (15) and Tyler Sullivan (14) all scored in double digits for St. Marys.

Celina 59, Crestview 48

CONVOY — Ryan Hoyng had 26 points and Grant Liffin scored 10 for Celina. Cody Mefferd had 20 points and Connor Lautzenheiser scored 19 for Crestview.

Minster 56, Franklin Monroe 38

ARCANUM — Matthew Trushaw (16), Gabe Goodwin (15) and Drew Ripploh (10) all scored in double digits for Minster.

FORT LORAMIE — Fort Loramie outscored Fort Recovery 17-13 in the fourth quarter to get the victory. Kyle Schroer (13), Chase Bruns (12) and Micaiah Cox (10) all scored in double digits for Fort Recovery.

ADA — Blake Willeke (18), Grant McBride (14), Brayden Sautter (13) and Jordan Bailey (10) all scored in double digits for Ada. Colyn Blackford had 18, Austin Phillips scored 10 for Kenton.

New Knoxville 70, Ft. Jennings 35

NEW KNOXVILLE — Jalen Fullenkamp (16), Andrew Arnett (14), Nick Topp (11) and Zach Neuman (10) all scored in double digits for New Knoxville. Nick Von Sossan led Fort Jennings with 12 points.
