EAST LIBERTY — Local Honda production returned to normal Tuesday, after it stopped due to the port strike.

Cameron Warner, acting district director for U.S. Rep. Jim Jordan’s office, said at the Auto Taskforce meeting on Tuesday that the East Liberty and Marysville plants had stopped production and given employees the opportunity to take on other roles or take off work, Warner said, then the plants apparently found other ways to get the parts they needed and were able to start again.
