BOSTON — Former Shawnee runner Tom Scott advanced won his heat to qualify for the finals of the 1,000 meters at the USA Track and Field Indoor Championships on Saturday.
Scott finished with a time of 2 minutes, 24.17 seconds which was the eighth fastest time overall. Robby Andrews had the fastest time of 2:19.85. The finals are scheduled to be at 5 p.m. today.
