600 block of North Jefferson Street, Lima — A woman went to St. Rita’s Medical Center to check the status of her unborn child Monday. She said she was assaulted by her boyfriend, who had tried to cause harm to the unborn child once he found out she was pregnant. The LPD report said the boyfriend is engaged to someone else.

400 block of Ewing Avenue, Lima — Officers responded to a report of domestic violence Sunday. A woman and her sister got into a physical altercation after the woman accused her sister of having a sexual relationship with her boyfriend.

1600 block of Karen Street, Lima — Officers responded to a report of domestic violence Sunday. An elderly woman stated that her grandson, who is a minor, hit her in the back of the head with his fist and threw a table at her. He was arrested and taken into custody.

300 block of Calumet Avenue, Lima — A woman called LPD to report an act of vandalism on her car. She believes someone she knew put a candy bar in her gas tank. The woman attempted to drive her vehicle but said it stopped working about a half of a block away from her residence.

900 block of Rice Avenue, Lima — A woman gave another woman a ride home Sunday and was paid for the mileage. The alleged victim asked her passenger if she could use her restroom in her residence. When she left the residence after using the restroom, she told officers that her bag of money was stolen.

400 block of West Ashton Avenue, Lima — Officers were dispatched to the residence for a report of a burglary. Upon arrival, a woman told officers that a man had recently moved out of her home and was told to come retrieve his belongings. While the woman was away, the man came to retrieve his belongings and took other large appliances from the home. The woman said the man is a known heroin addict and is finding ways to feed his habit.

3500 block of Irvin Road, Lima — A man told Allen County Sheriff’s Office deputies Wednesday someone stole items from his unlocked camper.

400 block of Mumaugh Road, Lima — A man was intoxicated and attempted to start a fight with his son’s girlfriend Sunday.

1700 block of Robb Avenue, Lima — A woman said she was assaulted by a man Sunday.

4500 block of Harding Highway, Lima — Officers responded to a report of domestic violence Saturday.
