LIMA — The Allen County commissioners are extending the deadline for dog owners to procure a license after a recommendation at Thursday’s board meeting by Allen County Dog Warden Julie Shellhammer.
Owners now have until Feb. 2 to register any dogs 3 months or older, two days after the original deadline of Jan. 31. One-year licenses are $22, with three-year and permanent licenses available for $66 and $220, respectively.
Licenses can be purchased at the Allen County Courthouse, the Dog Warden facility at 1165 Seriff Road or online at www.allencountyauditorohio.com.
