NEW YORK CITY — Two members of the Lima Police Department attended a funeral Sunday for New York City Police Detective Wenjian Liu.
The Lima Police Department released multiple photos of Patrolmen Aaron Rode and Cory Noftz, detailing their visit to New York and their experience at Liu’s funeral.
Liu, 32, along with NYPD Officer Rafael Ramos, were murdered Dec. 20 while sitting in their squad car in Brooklyn. Police officers from across the country attended the funeral as a show of solidarity with the NYPD.
