DELPHOS — Mr. and Mrs. Max Higbie, of Delphos, celebrated 67 years of marriage Jan. 3, 2015. A family celebration was held.
Higbie and the former Gloria DeLong were married Jan. 3, 1948, at Westminster Christian Church by the Rev. Willard Thomas.
They are the parents of two daughters, Pam (Mike) Thaman, of Lima and Cheryl (Ed) Poling, of Elida. One son, David Higbie, is deceased. They have six grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
Higbie is a retired semi-truck driver. His wife is a homemaker.
