Crime Victim Services receives $15,000 grant

LIMA — Crime Victims Services of Allen and Putnam Counties is one of eight organizations in Ohio receiving funding to help fight human trafficking, receiving $15,000 total.

Allen, Defiance and Putnam counties will receive $5,000 in funding from both the Ohio Children’s Trust Fund and the Ohio Human Trafficking Task Force to develop and implement programs. The projects will help to identify and assist at-risk youth populations to raise awareness.

A total of $90,000 was donated to programs throughout Ohio.
