Celina woman arrested for heroin

CELINA — A Celina woman is currently in jail after a traffic stop revealed a BB gun and drugs.

Tyla Ganger, 21, was arrested after a traffic stop at about 2 p.m. Wednesday on U.S. Route 127, according to a press release from the Mercer County Sheriff’s Office.

Ganger was arrested for an outstanding warrant and was charged with possession of heroin, driving under suspension and OVI. A Celina Police K-9 alerted on the vehicle. Officers found nine capsules of heroin, four empty capsules and a $100 bill.

She is currently held at Mercer County Jail on $50,000 bond.

The Celina Police Department and the Mercer County Sheriff’s Office collaborate for the Heroin Interdiction Team.
