MOUNT CORY — Two people were taken to the hospital Monday afternoon after a one-vehicle crash in Hancock County.
Sherry D. Harris, 55, and her passenger, Brittany Grisby, 30, were taken to Blanchard Valley Hospital with injuries that were not considered life threatening, the Ohio State Highway Patrol reported.
The crash happened at 1:20 p.m. Monday on county Road 16 in Blanchard Township. Harris was driving north near county Road 78 when she lost control of her vehicle and traveled off the left side of the road striking a utility pole, the patrol reported.
Both women were wearing seat belts. Alcohol did not play a role in the crash, the patrol reported. Harris was cited for failure to control.
