LIMA — Equitas Health Workers has announced the organization won its first union contract. According to a recent press release, the union agreement includes signing bonuses, wage increases and a binding grievance. The organization reportedly represents hundreds of workers.
“After more than two years of interim leadership at Equitas Health, we finally have a new long-term CEO starting days from now,” said Jeff Dubin, senior therapist at the King-Lincoln office, in a recent press release. “We’re looking forward to working with him. Leadership transitions can be difficult and we’re glad that through our new union contract, we’ll have a voice in changes that affect the work we do.”
