LIMA — The City of Lima is hosting its second annual MLK service week beginning Thursday.
“There will be barrels at the city building, the Meeting Place and at Vibe Coffeehouse,” said Sydni Winkler, Neighborhood Specialist. “Each barrel will sponsor a different organization.”
Heart and Soul are asking for new and gently used socks for ages 6 to 10 years old. Their barrel will be located at Vibe Coffeehouse.
Crime Victim Services is asking for oral hygiene products, cleaning products, paper towels and toilet paper. That donation barrel will be located at the Meeting Place.
All-Star Pets is asking for small and large dog collars, kitten chow, canned kitten food, cat toys, puppy toys and large gravity water bowls. That donation barrel will be located at the city building.
