CRIME OF THE WEEK
Allen County sheriff investigators were seeking the public’s help in finding the person responsible for an assault and robbery of a man at the Speedway Gas Station at 1320 Elida Road at 9:30 p.m. Oct. 6. A man was in his vehicle when the robber approached him and demanded money. The victim refused. He was assaulted and his cellphone taken. The robber was described as as 5 foot 11, between the ages of 40 and 45 with a muscular build. The robber drove a black Chevy Tahoe.
