LIMA — Macy’s will be holding its national Shop For a Cause charity event Aug. 29, with the March of Dimes serving as this year’s beneficiary.
Customers at Macy’s locations nationwide, including Lima, will have the opportunity to give $5 to the March of Dimes at any register and receive a savings pass good for 30 percent off regular, sale and clearance merchandise all day. Online customers can also purchase a savings pass good for 25 percent off.
March of Dimes works to improve the health of mothers and babies, working to reduce infant mortality rates and prevent birth defects and premature birth.
