VAN WERT — Van Wert’s Andrew Todd tossed a five-inning perfect game in an 11-0 non-league, regular-season 11-0 baseball victory over Paulding Tuesday at Van Wert.
ELIDA – Somebody was going to be going into uncharted territory when Lima Central Catholic and Allen East met Monday night at Dorothy Edwards Field in Elida for the District III softball Sectional championship.
Columbus Grove clinched a share of the Putnam County League baseball title with an 11-0 win over Pandora-Gilboa on Monday.
BATH TOWNSHIP – When a good hitting team gets off to a fast start, it is tough to stop them. Celina scored 22 runs on 23 hits in defeating St. Marys 22-0 in a Division II softball sectional semifinal at Bath.

OTTOVILLE — With less than 100 students total at Fort Jennings High School, it’s not every day that a special athlete like Macy Schroeder comes around.
KALIDA — Ottoville’s baseball team pounded out 12 hits and Luke Schimmoeller threw a two-hitter as the Big Green knocked off Kalida 15-0 in five innings in Putnam County League action Thursday night at Holy Name Ballpark in Kalida.
LIMA — Crestview had control of its own destiny.
