VAN WERT — Van Wert’s Andrew Todd tossed a five-inning perfect game in an 11-0 non-league, regular-season 11-0 baseball victory over Paulding Tuesday at Van Wert.

Columbus Grove clinched a share of the Putnam County League baseball title with an 11-0 win over Pandora-Gilboa on Monday.

KALIDA — Ottoville’s baseball team pounded out 12 hits and Luke Schimmoeller threw a two-hitter as the Big Green knocked off Kalida 15-0 in five innings in Putnam County League action Thursday night at Holy Name Ballpark in Kalida.

LIMA — Lima Central Catholic’s softball team scored five runs in the first two innings and handed Crestview its first Northwest Conference loss of the season, 6-2, on Thursday at LCC.

Sam Huffman, Drew Jennings, Corey O’Dowd and Brad Stolly all had two hits to lead Lima Central Catholic to a 12-2 high school baseball win over Delphos St. John’s on Wednesday.

BATH TOWNSHIP – Bath’s softball team showed that they are good enough to win even when they don’t play perfectly.
