OTTAWA — John Schlumbohm cruised to an easy win in the Republican primary for Putnam County commissioner on Tuesday.
Schlumbohm, the mayor of Pandora and owner of Pandora Flooring & Supply, picked up 81 percent of the voted, compared to retired businessman Frank Miller’s 19 percent.
No other candidates filed for the November election, so Schlumbohm will take over the seat currently held by retiring three-term commissioner John Love in January.
