Voters approve Ottawa-Glandorf income tax increase

OTTAWA — Voters in the Ottawa-Glandorf district showed strong support for their schools Tuesday, approving a 1 percent income tax increase to fund day-to-day operations.

With all precincts counted, 57 percent of voters approved the measure for the district, which projected a $5 million shortfall within five years, and 43 percent said no.
