WAPAKONETA — Doug Spencer earned the voters’ approval for a fourth term as an Auglaize County commissioner on Tuesday.
Spencer picked up 70 percent of the vote in the Republican primary, well ahead of St. Marys Mayor Patrick McGowan’s 30 percent, to hold onto his seat.
There is no Democrat or independent running on the November ballot, meaning Spencer will officially win the seat by default in November.
