ST. MARYS — Voters in St. Marys strongly rejected a 1.5 percent income tax levy proposal Tuesday.
With all votes counted, 59 percent of voters said no to the additional money to fund day-to-day operations in the district, compared to 41 percent who voted in favor of the proposal. There were 3,343 votes cast.
