LIMA — Terri Kohlrieser appears to be on her way to becoming Allen County’s first elected female common pleas court judge.

With 61 percent of precincts counted, Kohlrieser, an assistant prosecutor in Allen County, holds a commanding 65 percent to 35 percent lead against experienced local attorney Lawrence Huffman in the Republican primary.

There is no Democrat running for the position, so the winner of the Republican primary will win the seat by default.
