Voters OKing Elida building levy so far

ELIDA — A proposal to build a new elementary school for Elida schools could be on its way to passing.

With 80 of 88 countywide precincts counted, 55 percent of voters said yes, with 45 percent saying no. That’s with 4,005 votes cast so far.

That’s quite a turnaround, since the issue was failing when there were 411 votes counted.
