BLUFFTON — The Bluffton Blaze of Lights Festival & Parade is on the horizon for 5 to 9 p.m. Saturday in downtown Bluffton.

The annual affair, which has been a tradition for more than three decades, is free. Thousands of visitors explore the town’s shopping district while the celebration includes a parade, lighting ceremony, live entertainment and additional festive activities.

The parade is slated to start moving at 5 p.m. Its theme is “A Christmas Carol,” drawn from the fabled Charles Dickens story. Entry forms and other details can be found at www.explorebluffton.com/blaze-festival.

The parade units’ lineup will take place at 4 p.m. Saturday at Snider Road and Main Street; the floats come to a halt at College Avenue. Trophies will be awarded for the best floats.

The decorative centerpiece will be the Ream-style (cutout figures) display at Bluffton Presbyterian Church located at 112 N. Main St.

Christmas at Delphos Canal Museum: 1 to 4 p.m. Saturday and Sunday at the Delphos Canal Commission Museum, 241 N. Main Street in Delphos.

This year’s theme is “Christmas Legends.” Admission is free, but donations appreciated.

Paul Smock Country at Mulligans: 10 p.m. Friday and 1 a.m. Saturday at 702 W. North St., Lima.

The event includes food, drinks and live music.

On Friday:

Charity Bingo: 6:45 p.m. Lima American Legion Hall, 711 S. Shore Drive, Lima.

American Legion Post 96 hosts charity bingo games every Friday and Sunday throughout November.

On Saturday:

Woman-Owned Business Pop Up Shop: 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday at 2510 Shawnee Road, Lima.

Admission is $2 at the door. All entry proceeds will be donated to Guiding Light Ministries.

Christmas & More with Daniel O’Donnell: 7:30 to 9:30 p.m. Saturday at Veterans Memorial Civic Center, 7 Town Square, Lima.

Lunch will be served at 1 p.m. at Knights of Columbus Hall, 1011 Elida Ave., followed by the ceremony.

CollarWoodWorks Bazaarguitar: 10 p.m. Sunday at 114 N. High St. in Columbus Grove.

The Minor Blues Youth Band is the host for the event, which is free.
