LIMA — Do you enjoy stepping outside, walking in the crisp, cool autumn air and seeing the leaves wave in colorful greeting as you walk past? If so, Johnny Appleseed Parks has the perfect invitation for you.
There will be a guided hike Saturday morning at 9 a.m. at Haver Ridge Metro Park, 8335 Bellefontaine Road, Harrod. The hike is free to attend, but handmade wooden walking sticks and specially designed T-shirts will be available for purchase for $10.
The hike lasts for about an hour and a half, and you’ll be walking on easy to moderate terrain.

If the hike sounds like something you want to do but you’ve got a prior commitment, don’t worry: There’s another hike offered next Saturday, Oct. 30, at 9 a.m. at Hermon Woodlands, 485 N.
