LIMA — The Easter Bunny fills your basket with plentiful entertainment and dining options this weekend, including a Limaland Easter tradition that’s moved a day earlier:

• The Tom Ahl Family will host the 28th annual Easter Dinner in a modified format from 10 a.m. to noon Saturday in front of the Wingate Hotel, 175 W. Market St., Lima. Families can pick up bags of food to feed four people for free. While the food is provided, the meals will still need to be prepared.

• The Ottawa River Coalition’s annual fish fry runs from 11 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. today at the Allen County Fairgrounds, 2750 Harding Highway, Lima. It’s operating as a drive-thru event this year. Tickets are $10 in advance via thisismyriver.org or by calling 419-999-0319, or they’re $12 at the site.

• The Delphos Knights of Columbus offers its last carry-out only fish fry of Lent from 4 to 7 p.m. today at Knights of Columbus, 1101 Elida Ave., Delphos. Dinners are $10 per dinner.

• Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 1275 has an all-you-can-eat fish fry starting at 5 p.m. at the post, 124 E. Elm St., Lima. The cost is $9.

• The Lima Land Poetry Slam starts at 7 p.m. today at SUNE Elevated Studios, 1174 W. North St., Lima. Sign up is the day of the event for rappers, singers and comedians. Donations are welcome.

• Guests can have their pets photographed with the Easter Bunny from 6 to 8 p.m. today at the Lima Mall, 2400 Elida Road, Lima, at Bunny’s Garden, next to Old Navy. Vaccinated, well-behaved pets are welcome through the Old Navy entrance, and pictures are available for purchase.

• Zion Lutheran Church holds its Easter “Eggstravaganza” from 1 to 4 p.m. Saturday at the church, 1300 Edgewood Drive, Lima. There will be food trucks, a bouncy house and an Easter egg hunt.

• Delphos Optimists will hold their Easter egg hunt starting at 1 p.m. Saturday at Delphos Stadium Park, 1100 N. Jefferson St., Delphos, along the Miami and Erie Canal on the east side of the park. There are four age groups with the chance to find eggs filled with candy, gift certificates and other prizes.

• Midwest Shooting Center will have an Easter egg hunt at 11 a.m. Saturday at 501 S. Dixie Highway, Cridersville. There will be more than 3,000 eggs. Eggs will also be passed out to adults in the store starting at 10 a.m. until they’re gone for chances to win ammunition, discounts or gift cards.

• Spencerville Invincible Fire Co. will have carry-out pancakes and sausage from 7 to 11 a.m. Saturday at the fire station, 200 S. Canal St., Spencerville, for $7. An Easter egg hunt will be held next to the library at 1 p.m.
