LIMA — Throughout 2018 and 2019, McDonald’s and franchisees are investing approximately $251 million in Ohio restaurants, including several locations in the Lima area.
This year, Lima area McDonald’s owner Jerry Lewis has already renovated locations on Elida Road, Market Street and in Bluffton. By 2019, he plans to renovate the locations on West Street and others in Shawnee, Van Wert and Ada.
Modernized locations will feature new furniture, digital self-order kiosks, digital menu boards, curbside pick-up parking spots and an expansion of McCafe’s counters and display cases.
“We’re working to build a better McDonald’s across the state of Ohio, and we’re proud of the investment that we’re making in our neighborhoods long term,” said McDonald’s owner Jeff Newman in a news release. “Our modernization not only brings a new, convenient, comfortable experience for our customers, but it also supports local architecture, engineering and construction jobs across our state.”
