MINSTER — A ribbon cutting ceremony was recently held at the Nidec Minster Corporation in Minster t0 showcase its newly renovated cafeteria, restrooms, washrooms, locker facilities and Employee Education Center.
The new 3,500 square-foot cafeteria now seats 126, and the additional 1,100 square-foot outdoor patio provides seating for 36 employees.
The cafeteria is equipped with a new vending machine-free atmosphere, equipped with digital self-serve transactions with fresh and healthy food options. It is open 24 hours and is equipped with audio-visual resources for large presentations and small break out meetings.
“Our recent investments are geared toward our most valuable resource — our people,” said Nidec Minster President and COO Steve Gruber in a news release. “Training and retaining a skilled and motivated workforce is very important for a global company like Nidec Minster, competing in a highly innovative atmosphere.”
