Roundup: Elida edges LCC in softball

ELIDA — Winning pitcher Kylie Biglow allowed no earned runs, five hits and a walk while striking out five in seven innings as Elida defeated Lima Central Catholic 2-1 in high school softball Thursday.

Biglow also had a hit and an RBI and teammate Kayla Hunter doubled.

LCC’s Emma Skinner allowed no earned runs, five hits and no walks while striking out nine in 6 2/3 innings. Melana Badea had two hits and Carolina Kill had a hit and an RBI also for LCC.
