Remodeled Hart Hall reopens

SHAWNEE TOWNSHIP — Hart Hall, a banquet facility at 1658 Breese Road, had a ribbon-cutting Wednesday to showcase the newly remodeled room available for rent.

Owner Brenda Fox explained the business.

“We wanted to provide something in the area that is an affordable option, not only for the graduation parties and the birthday parties and wedding bridal shower,” she said. “We wanted to have a wedding facility that people don’t have to spend all their money on and lose their honeymoon. We’re trying to fill in that gap so that people know they can have a nice facility without spending all their money.”

The hall took a couple of months to be remodeled. Supply chain problems hindered the work. New flooring and new walls were part of the remodel. Parking is on site, but Fox is still looking to get some of the parking lot sealed.

“We have packages that can be Friday-Saturday or Friday-Saturday-Sunday,” she said. “We have a new package for weddings that they get Friday, Saturday and Sunday, plus they get another Sunday for a bridal shower, and that’s all for one price for the whole thing, which offers them a nice discount. We can provide all the services, and they can make one stop. Stop in here and see us. Get everything planned; their headaches are out of the way and they can go on.”
