KALIDA — The hosts knocked off No. 8 Division IV Minster 48-46 in overtime Tuesday night in girls high school basketball.

Aby Wurth had 19 points and seven rebounds, Grace Klausing had 10 points and nine rebounds and McKayla Maag scored 10 for Kalida (14-7). Ivy Wolf had 16 points and Janae Hoying scored 10 for Minster (16-5).

MCGUFFEY — Aaliyah Fowler and Hailee Conrad had 13 points each and Jordan scored 12 and had six steals for Shawnee (8-12). Briona Hurley had eight points and Allison Moore scored seven for USV (0-21).

Ridgemont 27

MIDDLE POINT — Lana Carey had 11 points and seven assists, Brianna Ebel scored 11 and Jordan Decker contributed 10 rebounds for Lincolnview (3-18). Amanda Howland had seven points and seven rebounds for Ridgemont (6-15).

WAYNESFIELD — Miranda Wills (17), Courtney Sumner (11) and Kirsten Poling (10) each scored in double digits for the visiting Bulldogs (7-14). Jordan Elliott had 17 points and Zaria DeLeon and Rylie Barrington each scored six for W-G (4-17).

BOTKINS — Madison Cordonnier had 14 points and Kaylee Freund and Kira Bertke each scored 12 for the Cardinals (14-8).

NEW KNOXVILLE — Morgan Leffel (15), Ellie Gabel (13) and Jacklyn Leffel (11) each scored in double digits for the host Rangers. Makenzie Wilson ahd 17 points and Kassi Saunders score eight for the Redskins.

OTTOVILLE — Nicole Knippen had 10 points for the host Big Green (13-9).

Coldwater 52, Elida 46

ELIDA — Annelise Harlamert had 17 points and 12 rebounds, Riley Rismiller scored 13 and contributed 10 rebounds and Jenna Leugers had 11 points and five assists for the visiting Cavaliers (9-12). The individual scoring for Elida (10-11) was not reported by deadline.

Van Buren 40, Bluffton 29

VAN BUREN — Laykin Garmatter had eight points and Kayla White scored seven for the visiting Pirates (14-7).

Final AP poll

Division III Ottawa-Glandorf finished seventh in the final Associated Press press poll of sports writers and broadcasters.

Marion Local was fifth and Minster eighth in D-IV.

KENTON — Trinity Gearing had 11 points and 15 rebounds, Hailee Conrad scored 14 and Aaliyah Fowler and Tessa Jordan each had 11 points Monday night for the visiting Indians. Lindsey Smith had 17 points and Makenzie Bays scored 11 for the Wildcats (8-11).

DELPHOS — Brady Parrish had 19 points and nine rebounds and Brady Grothaus scored 14 for DSJ (13-6). The individual scoring for Bath (2-18) was not reported.

ELIDA — Shawnee’s Trent Fairburn (152 pounds) won by pin to secure his 100th career victory. Shawnee’s Ethan Morgan (120), Cory Beach (126) and Damion Music (160) also won by pin. Elida’s Dalton Swickrath (138) won by major decision.

Bluffton tri match

BLUFFTON — The host Pirates defeated Kenton (45-18) and Columbus Grove (48-36) and CG defeated Kenton (46-24).

Bluffton’s Thayne Klemen (106) and Kaden Basil (138) and Columbus Grove’s Ezra Jones (182) each recorded two pins.

Paulding 51, Antwerp 21

Paulding’s Dawson Lamb (138) and Brody Fisher (145) each won by pin.

Bluffton’s James

BLUFFTON — Bluffton University’s Brandon James has been named the Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference Field Athlete of the Week.

The Waynesfield-Goshen graduate took first place at the All-Ohio DIII Track & Field Championships Multi-Events at Denison University during the weekend. He finished with 4,292 points, nearly 100 more than his closest competitor. James won the long jump and the shot put with a second-place finish in the high jump en route to his All-Ohio Multi championship.
